1. What do you see as the most important thing(s) that should have been done to avert (or at the very least be better prepared for) catastrophes like the Exxon Valdez or BP oil spills? Could these things have been done while maintaining the profitability of these companies? (Do you think for example that corporations can be counted on to either avoid major spills or clean them up adequately?) Do you agree with Reich that we cannot hold BP (or Exxon, etc.) morally responsible? Explain.
